Machine selection guide

Mist extraction for Ace Micromatic CNC machines

Start with the exact machine and process, not a collector chosen from the machine brand alone. Share your Ace Micromatic model, coolant and enclosure photos so the extraction arrangement can be checked.

Before selecting a model

What we need from your shop

Ace Micromatic's 2-axes horizontal turning range spans Chuckers, Compact, Jobber, Jobber Evo, SimpleTurn, Classic, Heavy Duty, LT, Vantage and CAT series. The series name is a starting point, not a verified Cleanmist mounting specification. Machines within a series can differ in enclosure, options and process.

Machine and enclosure

Send the complete model and variant from the machine plate, plus photos of the enclosure and any existing extraction opening. Include available space above or beside the machine.

Fluid and operation

Tell us whether the fluid is water-mix coolant or neat cutting oil, what operation is running, and whether the issue is visible mist, smoke, or escape when the door opens. Share the fluid product or safety data sheet where relevant.

Installation arrangement

Note any existing collector or ducting, approximate connection length and bends, and whether you want machine-top or stand mounting. Compatibility and mounting need checking before an order.

Duty and quantity

List each machine that needs extraction and its working pattern. A collector choice for one Ace Micromatic installation should not be copied to another without checking the application.

Collector choice

Coolant mist or neat-oil smoke?

The CM series brochure lists suitability for oil and emulsion mist. CM600, CM1100, CM1500 and CM2000 have rated airflows of 600, 1100, 1500 and 2000 CMH respectively. These are collector ratings, not confirmed airflow requirements for any Ace Micromatic model.

The ESP series is intended for neat-oil mist and smoke applications. Its collecting cells are washable; optional HEPA is a separate replaceable filter. Selection still depends on the process, fluid and extraction arrangement.

We have not published a universal Ace Micromatic-to-Cleanmist model chart because machine-specific fit and extraction requirements have not been verified. Send the details above before choosing the unit.

Questions about an Ace Micromatic installation

Does an Ace Jobber or LT machine always need the same collector?

No fixed model mapping is claimed here. The complete machine variant, coolant, enclosure and connection arrangement need checking first.

Can you confirm the mounting from the machine name?

Not from the name alone. Photos and dimensions of the intended location and connection help establish whether a practical mounting arrangement is available.

Is Cleanmist an Ace Micromatic-approved accessory?

This page does not claim Ace Micromatic approval, an OEM partnership or a factory-fit option. Ace Micromatic is used only to identify the machine make being discussed.

What should I send first?

Your exact Ace Micromatic model, fluid name and a few enclosure/extraction-opening photos. Add any existing collector details and the number of machines.

Send your Ace Micromatic machine details

We will review the application before recommending a collector and mounting arrangement.
